Hans represents the heart of BLACK MARKET film scores, looking back on over 40 years of experience in music production. Today, he draws from a creative pool that could hardly be more diverse. Before his time as a film composer, he toured European clubs with indie bands, studied jazz in the Netherlands, produced highly successful children’s music, and now lives in an artistic universe without boundaries. He loves the combination of electronic tinkering and the incomparable experience of real instruments played by real virtuosos. Hans follows the idea that there are still so many undiscovered soundscapes and musical forms to explore, making the experimental approach to film music always exciting if one desires it and does not want to walk in traditional paths.
